Spira Day 13: Prosthetics & Chemistry

We began our day by looking at another application of Biomedical Engineering: assistive technology! We met with three members of the knee-joint team for Penta, an organization that provides repurposed prosthetics to individuals in Vietnam.

We spent the rest of our day looking at chemical reactions, and even made edible water bottles!
