Spira Day 11: What do Biomedical Engineers do?
We started off our day with a talk by Hannah Chung, one of the founders of Sproutel! She talked about how she designed a teddy bear (Jerry the Bear) for kids with Type 1 diabetes.
From there, we moved into other applications of Biomedical Engineering - designing pill coatings and casts.
