We believe in interdisciplinary learning

Our lessons are designed to show our campers the diversity within engineering. We teach to explore principle questions in engineering. Campers are taught the basics principles through a short lecture and are then engaged in group activities where they can apply what they have learnt and be creative while problem solving. Often the activity is complete over the spread of a couple of days, followed by a debrief session. The debrief session encourages the girls to comment on their own performance, weaknesses and strengths. The group discussion leads them to consider how they would improve their design, production and collaboration skills. ​
