Spira Day 15: Our Trip to Instron!

We're now in the last days of Spira but it doesn't mean the fun needs to end! Today we took a field trip to Instron! Instron is an engineering company that tests the strength of various materials located in Norwood, Massachusetts. We took the campers up to their facilities where we treated to a tour and various activities from building a small strong structure to learning personal branding. The girls enjoyed their day as they were given another taste of some of the real life applications of engineering to further expand their knowledge of the variety that comes with studying engineering. Hope the rest of our last week continues to be just as fun!
