The Last 2014 Mentor Wednesday!
Today was the last mentor Wednesday of 2014! Our Spira Reps, Grace, Afaf, Leslie, Joy, Edith, Colleen, Eliana, and Sabrina, did an amazing job this summer and we are grateful for their contributions to Spira!
The mentors assisted the 4 final project groups on their houses. The four assignments of the final project are: a New York City Apartment building, a Miami waterfront house, a cabin in the Rocky Mountains, and a house in the Arizona desert.
The groups worked on their projects throughout the morning and for an hour after lunch.
The students were then given a guest lecture from Professor Haberstroh, Spira's faculty advisor. She talked to the students about what to look for when finding a good college and how to succeed in both high school and college classes.
Tomorrow the groups will finish their houses!
