Countdown to Camp: 4 DAYS!

Good afternoon!

This will be the last blog post of the 2014 Spira Planning Period. Camp starts in four days. We wanted to thank you again for attending the Meet & Greet! You all brought great energy to the event and made it a success.

We attached a picture (above) of some of the Spira crew at the Meet & Greet. From left to right, we have: Briana (coordinator), Colleen (mentor), Leslie (mentor), Joy (mentor), and Sophia (coordinator). The full team of mentors will be present on the first Wednesday of camp! At that time, students will meet with their mentors and mentoring groups and participate in an exciting surprise activity. (Hint: food is involved!)

On our last day of planning, the Spira Team will finish organizing the classroom so that it will be ready for our awesome students on Monday.

Here are some quick reminders for the first day of camp:

• Meet at the Barus & Holley Lobby at 9 AM. The coordinators will be there to greet you. If you arrive late, we will have at least one coordinator present at the lobby until 9:30. If you arrive after 9:30, please call (407)-376-9001 so a coordinator can greet you and bring you up to our classroom.

• Make sure you have your bus passes. Do not lose these; we will not replace them if they are lost.

• You do not have bring anything to camp, unless you have not turned in the necessary paperwork (i.e. completed waiver packet) and/or payment. You cannot attend camp without having turned in the waiver packet.

• Camp ends at 3 PM.
